Facial plastic surgery:

If the skin has drifted downwards and the excess skin is sagging and can not be improved by procedures, or massage or laser, or injections. It is also not possible to have a preventive operation on your face so that nothing would drift downward. Marks showing the necessity of operation: excess skin on the neck, deep nose – mouth wrinkles that can not be corrected by infections due to drooping cheeks. Facial plastics are often combined with neck plastics as neck alone can rarely be corrected. Facial plastics can successfully be combined with injections. The operation is performed under general anaesthesia. After the operation – one night at the clinic, bandage for 1 week. Then you will be permitted to wash your hair under shower. Limitation for 3 – 4 weeks to attend sauna, pools, baths, solarium, sports. Stitches are removed on the 7th – 10th- 12th day. If you have bruising, it will disappear in 2 weeks. Swelling will increase in the first 2- 3 days, but it quickly disappears.

Eyelid surgery:

Eyelids can be done separately – upper eyelids or lower eyelids or together – combing the upper and lower part. If performed separately done under local or general anaesthesia - depending on the patient's wishes. Combination of the upper and lower eyelid is always performed under general anaesthesia. Drooping upper eyelids and hernia of fatty tissue in them can be both inherited or may develop as a result of aging. The correction is necessary if the skin is sagging; it lies on the eyelashes making you feel pressure on your eyes. You may feel tired and eyes may hurt. If make -up accumulates in skin wrinkles; the eyes are watering, but the oculist can not find the problem; if permanent make-up can not be applied. In these cases even oculists and cosmetologists advise their patients to visit plastic surgeons. Lower eyelids should be corrected if there is excess skin, bags under eyes, dark circles under the eyes. Then the excess skin is removed, fat tissue repaired so that it does not make bags under the eyes. After the surgery patients will be permitted to return home on the same day, you do not have to spend a night at the clinic. You may see bruising and swelling (always after lower eyelids) for 2-3 days. It will last for 3 weeks. Stitches are removed after a week. Make-up can be used after 10 days. The head should be kept upwards for a week. Limitation for 3 weeks to attend sauna, pools, baths, solarium, sports.

Ear correction:

Ears can be improved when ear cartilage is fully formed which is around 5-6 years of age. Usually children are operated before school to avoid ridicule in first three forms. Ear correction is also often done on adults if it has not been performed in childhood or their parents haven’t known about this possibility. This surgery can be done under local anaesthesia. You can go home on the same day, the surgery is very calm, painless, and children play games or even fall asleep. Sometimes, however, the first night may be difficult. Elastic bandage will be worn around the head for a week. Then hair can be washed under shower. Limitation for 3 weeks to attend sauna, pools, baths, solarium, sports. The stitches are removed on the 10th day. If scabs, blisters, bruising develop, they disappear within 2 weeks.

Nose surgery:

Nose can be operated only from 18 years of age when it is fully developed. Nose correction is considered the most difficult plastic surgery as not only skin and under skin is touched but also cartilage and bone and these often develop scars. Therefore during consultation each case is discussed in great detail. The operation in performed under general anaesthesia, you will have to stay at the clinic overnight. Usually plaster is applied on the nose for a week. If not only cartilage, but also bone is touched, you will have bruising for at least 2 weeks. Nose tampons are removed the next morning. Limitation for 3 – 4 weeks to attend sauna, pools, baths, solarium, sports. The stitches are removed on the 10th day. Nose correction is the only operation, the result of which is fully seen only after a year.
